Shep transmission arrived today!

My brand spanking new stage 4 Shep transmission arrived today. The install will be complete sometime early Monday so I'll let you guys know how it feels. Their service was amazing and it got here about a week earlier than they had told me when I ordered it. Its all shiny and clean. I just wanted to kiss it.

This posting is friggin pointless. And to the poster, man you are a BSer or you don't know anything about the sequence in car mods. Shepherd Stage 4 on a car with only 16g turbo.

I broke an upgraded "TRE" tranny with a T28. No launching or speedshifting, just from the torque or jerk. I'm on my 2nd TRE tranny and this time I don't launch it, shift fast, or go full throttle until 2nd gear. YMMV.

Excuse my ignorance but even if he post pics of his stage whatever tranny won't it look exactly like you have in your car? It's just a tranny everything is internal so what the hell are we going to se anyways just a tranny no?

WTF stage 4 and 16g as I posted above 8sec tranny. Atleast you dont have worry about the tranny anymore. BTW I blew a tranny with my small 16g and way less mods. Then I nearly blew it again cause of a cracked bellhousing. If it blows again its shep all the way.

Their site says expect to pay $70-90 to ship it out and they charge a flat $80 back (a bit more if you want a box or the one you sent it out in isn't reusable).

You must be completely ignorant... 1st there is no "sequence" in mods, wait no, there is... maintenance then upgrade. I would run a built tranny on a stock car if I could, who doesn't like a smooth shifting, strong transmission? It's incredible you come into this thread to just start shit with no evidence at all!! If that's all your going to do, GTFO.

To the OP- I'm not the biggest fan of Shep but hopefully you will have no problems with the tranny. Congrats on the purchase!

Lol. Actually. I just bought that EVO3 mani. And just ported it out.. I recently just ripped it apart due to rod damage. I had it totally apart in about an hour....NHRA STYLE

Hey, dirtbags. I completely forgot about this post. If you look at my "new threads history" you'll see that I've been asking the lot of you where I could find a good transmission. And another pity post saying my transmission piled up. So, if I am lying, I must be consistent. Also, if you look at my post history you'll see that I posted a thread (with pictures) explaining that my car got broken into. So it went directly from the shop (Lightspeed Innovations) to the autobody place. Its currently there awaiting a new dash and windows. When I get the car back I'll take some photos for you guys. God, I'm almost glad I waited this long to take photos. Now I can REALLY rub it in some of your faces. Shut some of you up. Jesus.

yea i have had mine for almost 11 months now. All I have to say is it's the best investment you'll ever make in ## dsm. JUST MAKE SURE to adjust your cable under your stick shifter and boot with a couple 10's because your throws will definitely not match what your old transmission had set. I know at first for me I couldn't hit reverse or 5th very well before adjusting the throws. Have at it man and enjoy

when I got mine he didn't charge shipping if u get a stage 4 or the dogbox. The trannys run 3120 I think for the stage 4 and the dog box is like 3250

So the guy has a nice transmission in a stockish car. So what. If you had a broken transmission and needed a new one and had the money, would you buy a used stock one for now or just get the stage IV knowing you'll never have to replace it again?

Keep the bs to an absolute minimum or we'll start laying the law down as alot of this stuff is borderline harassment with absolutely no backing what-so-ever. It's like telling a guy he's an idiot for buidling a bulletproof bottom end on a 14b car after blowing his motor. Why buld another stock one when you can guarantee that you'll never have an issue with it again.

I agree. If I was in his shoes, I would probably do the same thing. I do things once and done. I wouldn't want to get a stage 1 or 2 and then start beating on it hard and have to rebuild it again because I need a stronger tranny.

And I want to see pics because you rarely see a clean tranny
