Im needing help setting up a decent tune on DSM link & getting my A/F ratios in a good spot. I have a 97 Eagle Talon TSI, current mods added to the vehicle:
• 16g turbo
• DSM Link V3
• FMIC
• Innovate Front O2 Wideband
• Hallman boost controller
I’m still running 450cc injectors and stock fuel pump. I have a walbro 255lph fuel pump that I need to install, I do plain to buy 550cc or 800cc injectors.
I’m currently experiencing a boost lag at the mid rpm’s, once I get to the higher rpm’s the car start to pull as expected. My A/F gauge will be around 15-16ish while warming up, while the vehicle is at normal temperature it will stay around 12-13, during a pull it will drop to 9-10. I changed the 02 sensor to see if that would make a difference on the reading due to the age of the 02 sensor that was installed. The reading stayed close to the same with the new O2 sensor installed. With DSM Link I set my basic information up for altitude, injector size, but I’m still trying to figure out what I’m needing to change or have set up, I know the stock 2g map isn’t a good tune for the 16g turbo. I’m needing a few pointers or information to get my build heading in the right direction!
