Car has loads of knock at low boost levels on stock injectors. 99% sure the base timing is off as I've messed with the cam angle sensor before (don't ask).

Now I understand you need to ground the wire near the firewall but everytime I do this the car dies. Do I need to turn the idle up?

Secondly there are three different marks that I'm matching the arrow to. Where should it be at for 4-5 degrees btdc???

Please respond I don't want to lose a motor due to the base timing being off.

Sounds like the BISS is WAAAAAY too tight. Does the car even come close to idling properly after an ECU reset?

It doesn't idle very well after I reset the ecu.
