Set up MAFT now SAFC to 0?

i jsut bought a car that was ligthly modded and in the trunk was a "to be installed maft" i already have a safc 2 adn 510s so i was wondering if i set up the maft to the 510s and leave it in the engine bay, and then set the zero out the afc? (within reason) the afc would think its stock right with the maft compensation?

Wrong, you would need to still fine tune with the SAFC.

i know that, thats the point of the afc, it seems easier to tune and a little more precise, not to mention a display unlike the MAFT, what i was wondering is if i just start it off all zeroed out and go from there

Just set the MAFT to your injector size then zero out the rest of your settings. Tune with the AFC. Some guys I know run the MAFT just like that. Even with a Draw thru setup its a dramatic improvement over stock, while a blow thru lets you BLING-BLING your BOV to atmosphere.

cool sounds good, i what wondering about the drawthru setup, if it did anything and in time ill switch to a blow thru....possibly 2 of the coolest sounds ever created by man are a turbo spooling, and a bov popping off

i got it installed, and now do i just set the AUX knob and the BASE knob and leave the maft alone and then to WOT tuning via the SAFC ?

Exactly, do your base/idle corrections with the MAFT and leave all others at Zero. The fine tune everything else with the SAFC.
