Okay happened last night. Took a corner and slamemd on the gas and once it hit about 5k it started sputtering. This has happened before. Some times on the highway it would just start doing that annoying sputtering noise and even when i would hit 15 pounds of boost, it wouldnt go. And now its doing it all the time. I checked all the vacum lines and ic piping in case something blew off but nothing. I do work at a shop so im gonnna put it on the lift and do runs like that and get the snap on modis to check data. But i did a headgasket 3 weeks ago to fix an overheating problem. I thought last night i might have blow the t25 but there minimal shaft play and its clean. Heres a video i took last night. And yes i do neeed bushings somewere.

Can't be fuel cut because when i put my foot all the way to the floor and its sputtering you can smell the fuel and then it backfires so it is getting more then enough fuel. I did change the ignition control module 2 months ago!

Last night when i was doing this video it would boost and go slowly. But right now i cant get the boost gauge past 4 without the car vibrating like crazy.

So your fuel pump is running fine? And also this sub-zero weather can mess with your fuel line too.

i hope so i have 2 fuel pumps, i just did ngk oem plugs and not much difference im going to go pick up coils and wires, i got the 1g coil pack, i got a quarter tank left im gonna go put some more gas and some stabilizer

so wires are done and theres a little improvement

if youre able to hook up to some sort of data logger you should check to see that your throttle position sensor is working through its whole range. I had a studder at about 4500rpm and turns out it was a bad tps. cheap and easy fix.

i was reading the data with the snap on but really had no clue what was going on, i kept getting some idle malfunction code, but it does idle surge in park. this must be a boost leak i cant get past 2,800rpm

actually the o2 sensor by the rear end is cut in half from when my exhaust fell and i do get that code but will an o2 sensor really make the car not go?

hate to say just sugested my poopy honda ran like shit without o2 but my tsi did the same with mad boost leak but u said u r getting 15 pounds so i dunno

well i cant go past 4 or 5 pounds of boost now, sometimes i can nail the gas and it will go to 15 but all you smell is gas and it wont go and after a couple seconds you'll hear backfiring since its flooding itself

Try a boost leak test and see what you come up with. I believe thats my problem (I hope?!), so if thats not it for you let us know, because Im interested.

yea im gonna do one this weekend and put a new o2 sensor tomorrow, but i checked my timing and it was good

okay it was a coilpack, picked one up off a 92 tsi since i got the 1g coilpack intake mani, cam sensor etc. As soon as i put it in, instant power, so technically if your sputtering get a tune up. Plugs, Wires, and coil pack or packs. Heres a little brake launch i just did to show how nice it is now.

Make sure the transformer plug didn't come off or break. What happened to me and a friend.
