Selecting an electric fan

So I'm thinking about using a afco scirocco radiator in my new 2g. I'd like to use an electric fan in front of the radiator rather then in the stock location to hide it as much as possible. What brand and size fan would work with this setup? This will be a street car, with a lot of highway and maybe some track time.

I dont know the size,but just to remind you to buy a "push" electric fan. And another thing. Wont the fans be exposed to debris,water etc? Is it good for it? Might consider this too on my dads talon(1g).

You will get the most out of fans running them in the engine bay. More efficient. The bigger the better. Flex-A-Lite and Spal make good fans

you can fit 2 12" Spal fan in front of the radiator. i have been running just one pusher with a fludyne Radiator without any issues.

get them from The-Fan-Man spal fan manufacturers, electric automotive cooling fans
thats where i got mine... ill be ordering a 2nd one soon also. but Marty is correct pullers are more efficent then pushers

The Scirocco radiator will only fit one fan.

As long as you have at least 4" of clearance in front of the radaitor, use SPAL 30102025. It's the highest output 12" pusher fan that they make.

Yes, pullers typically outperform pushers, but only marginally.
One thing to consider is that sometimes there isn't enough room to run a fan in the engine bay as a puller. A properly sized pusher set-up will definitely get the job done just as well.
