Okay this morning I slighlty stood up in the seat to get my wallet out of my back pocket and all of sudden the seat just snaps back. After, that the seat will not come back forward or anything. My question is it fixable at home or do I have to take it to a shop? It's a Sypder and the seat is manual.

Sounds like the frame of the seat might have broken. You'll have to take a look or feel around to see if you can tell where it broke at. Maybe it can be welded, but you'll have to take it apart to tell what's going on regardless. Good luck.:)

Thanks I am going to go look in the salvage yard today and just get another seat. I am sure it's not that hard to take your cushions off and put them on the other frame. Mitsubishi wanted over 500.00 just for the part the shop told me I needed.

Well, it was two things wrong with my seat the frame was broken and the reclining part was jacked too. We replaced all that and it's all good now. Thanks
