seat belts to harnesses wiring procedure?

so im removing everything to the stock seat belts so i can add harnesses for my new seats. yesterday as i was taking out the stock drivers seat i was pulling it out and suddenly my radio turned off and i heard a few weird noises. come to find out my battery magically started grounding out somewhere and draining the battery. i can barely get the car to turn over with the battery charger plugged in. so my question is what grounded out? and what else do i have to do when removing the belt motors and seat belts sensors so i can bypass all of them for my new seats.

i unplugged my seat belt harness connectors under the seats and now my auto seat belt tracks dont move

i have manual seats and the connector i found out is just for the dash light that tells you to put your seat belt on. i still cant find this short though, its draining my battery and my brain
