I noticed that the previous owner of my car took out the honeycombs in the maf. I'm guessing thats the reason my idle sucks. Well I tried searching for it and I know its goin to be expensive at the dealership so anyone know where I can buy one online? THanks

Here are some after a quick search of "mas" in the classifieds. Either that or find a local DSM forum and look through the for sale or post up a WTB ad.

SO your saying I need a whole new MAS? I just want the honey comb that goes in it.

Your best bet would be hit a junk yard up and possibly find one, I really doubt anyone would just sell the honeycombs out of the MAS because then no one would want the rest of the unit if they were trying to sell it. And yes, with the honeycombs removed you will have terrible idle, not like I know from experience or anything. Good luck hope you get some

A 2g MAS goes for ~$50

It's not that bad; otherwise find someone with a bad sensor and pull the honeycombs.
