A friend of mine has been having me look at the tune on his car and try to make some adjustments to make it run better. The car starts up just fine but once warmed up and during cruise driving it stays constantly running super LEAN. I have tried to add fuel in multiple ways and even changing the SD VE table to ridiculous numbers and the ecu automatically kicks the car back to LEAN.

Last night we locked the ECU in OPEN LOOP to calibrate the wideband gauge and had it running very well at 14.7 +/- .2 and it would stay there just fine, as well as 11.1+/-.2 when settings were changed. Once unlocking open loop mode it instantly goes back to insane LEAN readings and will not take any adjustments.

We have verified the base timing is correct as well as mechanical and the engine is a 6 bolt with roughly 5,000 miles on it. Running a coil on plug setup with NGKBR7ES plugs gapped at .026 and an Aeromotive FPR with a verified fuel pressure of 43.5 +/- .3 psi of fuel pressure. The fuel pump is a 6 month old walbro 255. Running speed density with a OMNI 4 bar and GM IAT and the harness from ECMLink to connect to the car. The AEM UEGO is simulated and wired to pin 75 of the ecu and REAR o2 locations. Currently running 93 octane and FIC 850cc injectors with the proper settings (used calculator for injector settings)!

Please give any advice as to how we can fix this issue. I have upload two clips from the same log last night with some adjustments being made throughout.

Thanks,
Travis and Justin

Boy do I feel like a jackass... After doing some digging with the tune a fellow dsm guru and myself found a whole world of issues with this tune.

The timing table was insane
The fuel tables were all over the place
And the Omni 4bar was reading constant boost...

Took us a bit to figure this out bit we reset the tables to factory and started over from there. Also the map sensor wasn't reading correctly because the setting was reading psia instead of just psi and once switched back it started working properly. Also, the baro and iat were not being captured which didn't help.

I will post a new log to show the differences and then start fine tuning from there and using the LinkTools, tool provided from Calan. Awesome tool by the way!
