Up for sale is a clean, used SBR GT11 DSM bolt-on turbo which has just been inspected, cleaned, and serviced with brand new sealing rings. This is basically a Garrett GT3076R (700177-5011S) in a DSM bolt-on turbine housing. It will bolt directly to any DSM-flanged manifold, and is capable of peak airflow in the 50 lb/min range while spooling quicker than anything else in it's airflow range with unsurpassed durability due to the absence of a thrust system which is a common failure place on journal bearing turbos that are pushed to the limit in smaller a/r turbine housings.
Compressor wheel is 55/76mm (52-trim) and the turbine is 56.5/53.5mm. This turbo should spool as quickly as a TD05H 20G but have the airflow capability of a FP Old School Green with the durability of a ball bearing GT Garrett.
The turbo has a standard T04E-style compressor cover (3" inlet, 2" outlet) and has an elbow welded to the outlet facing the driver's side of the car to align with the lower intercooler pipe on most FMIC setups. The turbine housing is a machined MHI 7cm2 turbine housing for the absolute quickest spool possible from this type of hybrid. The turbine housing is also ceramic-coated cast gray with no stripped holes, or broken bolts of any kind. There are a couple cracks in the housing around the wastegate hole but the wastegate port is welded so none of the cracks will pose a problem in performance, spool, or boost control as none of the cracks protrude to the outside of the housing. Both housings are 360* adjustable so they can be clocked to line up with any oil drain or intercooler piping you may have. You MUST have the ability to run an external gate off the manifold to use this turbo...this cannot be altered.
I'm including an oil feed restrictor for the inlet- you'll need to source a 4AN feed line from the head, and you can modify your stock coolant lines to work as well....the stock coolant line banjo bolts will even fit the coolant ports on the bearing housing. Very simple installation.
Guaranteed to be as described or 100% of your payment will be refunded once the unit is returned. You MUST feed this turbo from the head with use of a .035-.040" restrictor to provide proper oiling to the bearing housing. Use of an inline filter is also highly-recommended to prevent bearing cartridge damage from possible oil contamination. Ball bearing turbos cannot be fully-rebuilt as Garrett does not sell parts for them, so do your best to protect the turbo and it will offer you years of trouble-free service.
This turbo is VERY clean and quite hard to find these days as it is one of the original surviving SBR GT's built from an actual Garrett GT3076R and a machined MHI turbine housing. The price for this whole setup is just $550 shipped. Shipping will be to the lower 48 states ONLY- I will not ship to Canada or Internationally.
Paypal, money order, or cashiers check is accepted; the buyer will be responsible for any fees associated with submitting / receiving the payment. All interested parties can contact me via Private Message here on Tuners or via email at [email protected]. Priority given by order of contact.
