id like to get some peoples opinions on the SBR G-50 ive been looking into it but id like to hear some of your thoughts. I have supporting mods including wiseco pistons eagle rods, toga bearings, ect. , safc2, fully built head dual springs and comp 200's, greddy ecb, act clutch, ect. just some pros and cons would be great.

Nice set up, but what most of us would want to know is just what are you expecting out of this modification?

What are your goals?

well my car is a gst so im not focusing on a quarter mile car even tho i wouldnt mind making some good times. its my daily driver besides in the winter. im looking for it to be great from a roll.

I have an SBR G50. I now have on a Bullseye turbine housing and a new internal gate (higher pres. actuator). I have no complaints so far about the turbo. Its easily a 12 sec FWD turbo. I ran 13.0 last night, and will hit mid 12's soon, on FWD. My turbo builds 25 psi by 4000. I run complete fuel system and DSMlink. Its a good turbo to go w/.

Oh neat to see someone having somewhat same setup as im currently putting in except on a 2g (*looks at all the upgrades laying on the floor and car all ripped apart*).

I noticed that you dont have any heatshields on, have you had any issues doing that? Just looking at your pictures, it seems like its not even possible, or maybe not even worth the time in bending a heatshield to fit.

Yeah I haven't ran a heat shield since the day I put on my old small 16G. Luckily Ive not had ANY problems w/ it. I have the heat shield on the hood and thats why it hasn't started to flake off paint on the hood. W/out the shield on the hood, I would run the shield on the manifold. But mine looks like shit, thats why its off. Eventually I may but a nice SS polished one, but for now its fine.
