wouldn't ya know... my car pulled one on me today.
so i got p14-whatever coolant temp sensor... go to replace it...
the old crusty and nasty looking one came out with no problem what so ever
however, putting the new one in...
the thermostat housing broke. cracked right on both sides of the sensor i was putting in.
sad thing is... i only screwed it in halfway!!!

go back to where i got the new sensor from, wanting to double check they handed me the right one
(you know how people at work are...)
yup, its the right one. damn, cant blame them!
go to see if i can order a new thermostat housing... nope! only the thermostat cover/neck pipe.
looked around ebay... a thousand gaskets but no housings...
looks like this week is going to suck
