Knows i don't know much about games but my mum loved old telle shows like dark shadows and quantum leap and star trek (captain pickard version) so that's what i was raised on.

Should know that vampireism (in humans) and lycanthropy isn't real. The modern "vampire" is just about roleplay because they want to be something different. No human can drink blood and survive off of it.

Isn't Alucard just from the movie Interview with the Vampire with Tom Cruise?

Actually, the entire reason that Vampirisim has come about was that duing sometime in the earlier years of the world... Medival-sih era? They had come across people who they thought were Cannibals. Later on they realized that they were simply drinking/havesting their blood.

Also, old corpses dating waaay back have been uncovered with slight differences in their skeletal structure and also differences in the teeth of those individual corpses. IE - Sharper 'Fangs'.

Vampireism is, infact, real and documented.. though it is called something else that I can't be assed to think of right now. But you CAN survive off of blood, if you can stomach it. It would take forever to adjust to it.. but it does carry all of the basic needs for your body. Water, Protien, Calcium, blah blah. It goes on.

And No, Alucard is Dracula Spelled backwards. Also used in the greatest Castelvania Game.. and the best damned Anime Vampire Evar. Hellsing. ;P

Sidenote - Lycans are real....;P Just not the same as what you would believe. Remember seeing the story on TV about the family which each is COVERED in thick black hair that they can't shave off? What if... that genetic disorder has been around forever? And back in they day they just ASSUMED they were wolf men? Just like everyone Assumed the people who drank blood were Vampires? We just beef them up to make them sound good. Like... Super Strength.. flying, turning into mist. All that jazz.
 
Should know that your body relies on potassium and sodium which will not be acquired through drinking blood. Also no vitamin C so you will develop scurrvy. Digesting will also require more water than what is being taken in from the outsourced blood. You will die.

So just because someone has sharper incisor teeth than another makes them a vampire? I have sharper teeth than my gf and have a different bone structure too than her. Am I a vampire now? You also need to think that those corpses were from "wayyy back" and if you believe in evolution or adaptation, living creatures will change with time if there is a need to.

Should understand that it wasn't the case of being right or wrong, it's the case of sharing information here.

By different bone structure, I didn't mean " Oh my God, you have one more rib than mine" I have a different bone structure. I was hit by a car and broke every bone in my upper body save my skull or spine. Does that make me a vampire? hell no. What I mean was that there were NOTEABLE differences as far as 'Ordinary' occurences in the human skeletal structure. Much like an elongated skull or Neck.

Secondly, Yes, I know the Greek word for Lycan. I am Greek. The smartass comment about Wolves existing was un-needed but funny because I enjoy obvious comments. This was more of a reference to Hype. If Everyone says a Supra is badass, everoyne believes a Supra is badass. If someone with The damned disease of uncontrolable hair growth is called a Wolf-Man.. then that's what people start to note him as. Wolfman then turns into Werewolf because the modern-day human mind can only comprehend that a werewolf is anyone with wolf-like qualities.

I denounced the ability to transform into an animal.. that's called Lore. The Notable Lore of a Vampire - Garlic is a bad thing. Stake to the heart kills instantly. No Reflection. Can Regenerate. Can turn into a bat or mist. Cannot tolerate sunlight.

Twilight Lore? None of that matters, they glitter like fairies.

Lastly, Evolution may or may not be reality.. however, I was not refering to BC. I was more or less refering to Mid 14th Century, however I wasn't about to toss out historical assumptions and look like an idiot. Waaaaay back to most people is the Gold Rush. Should know I did enjoy all of this and it wasn't about saying who's right or wrong as you said :). These notions are all about people's beliefs and how things are precieved. Folklore is all about storytelling wether it's a truth that went askew or a completly fictional event or persona.

Yes there are true cases of lyncanthropy but not that of what 98% of the population believes what it's deffination means. Vampirism outside of a modern sub-culture of beliefs I still don't believe in because it truly means to live solely off of others lifeforce (blood) which humans are unable to.

Everybodys geneology is going to be different depending on where your ancestory was from. Genetic defects will also cause differences in "normal" body growth. Looking at ancient #### Sapien skeletons do show different bone structure because their adaptation was different than our current adaptation to where we are now.

Anyone can go and say what they want about werewolves and vampires and claim it to be true. You see it all the time, some more common and accepted than others. I didn't know what the Byzantine Empire was until I looked it up. My dad would have known as he is big on Roman history. It's a shame that we are technologically behind the Romans. They had things in their era that we either still can't create or took us so long to obtain. They had concrete that would set in water, we didn't have that until the mid 1900s. Greek fire, we still do not know what that stuff was and it's lost in time.

I wasn't marking you down as un educated, it took me some time to find the proper terminology to get the straight facts on the table and yes, wikipedia does help out LOL.

Are you from Greece or just heritage? I was in Athens last year and it was very nice. Wouldn't mind going back.

Should finally know that this has been fun. ;D I'm just at work and don't have a lot of time to put into posts... so if it's a huge one I type it quickly and make mistakes.
