I got my center caps off using the broken tool and put my winter wheels (stock 2g GST 5 spokes) on. But I am still in need of a tool for the spring when the nice wheels go on. I would rather not pay $30 for another plastic one, so I'm still trying to think of what else I could do. I don't want to use a wrench or the sort.

Bud, yes you still need a socketed ECU. BUT...1g's have it good because they devised a way to turn a non-EPROM into an EPROM.

Brian I havn't checked but I'm pretty sure I have an Eprom is the GSX. Non eprom in talon I checked..I'm not really sure what's going on with the Eproms, cause you still have to socket..Shouldn't it be ust one thing to be modded, not two things?? I might check today If the GSX has an Eprom. I have to do boost leak test anyway, then going drifting!!
