Should remove the caps asap..That should combat the spreading of the mushrooms..The spores(seeds) are inthe cap..Remove the cap, and that should make them go away..

They're neon yellowish/green, I'll try to pick off the heads. The plant seems unaffected for some reason, they just look nasty

Should know I know few things about plants..Yes the heads as you call them..Keep removing them untill the mushrooms, stop coming up completely...
