GS Dewd: do you have to put the clutch in to start it? For some reason my blue Laser doesn't need the clutch in to start, but my red car does. Do you by any chance know where the plug is?

There's mention of a clutch switch in the tech upgrade guide thing for 1gs on this site, but there's no picture and no switch on my pedal assembly

Should know if your car was originally a a/t car then you have to get a wiring diagram and add the clutch safety switch circuit and switch. And in the red car with is the one the I swapped to a 5 spd the clutch doesn't have to be in to start. The GSX was originally a 5 spd car so it has the safety feature. You will also need to get the switch and run it to a relay I believe that will have the switch portion of the relay hooked to the black w/ yellow stripped wires under the hood. Then hook a power wire to the relay from the fuse box and the switch on the clutch pedal one side goes to ground and the other goes to the neg side of the coil circuit of the relay. This isn't exactly how it's done from the factory but it works like a charm.
