Knows I thank Bud and Kyle for the birthday wishes but it's still only 10:30pm of the 9th. LOL

And Bud, you can see a small mark on the piston, but it didn't even hit hard enough to really damage the piston, just pushed the tip tight to the electrode thing.

Should know we replaced that plug, checked the rest of them, and it still barely runs and sounds like shit.

Knows I wonder if it's timing, did the belt slip a tooth?

I remember reading about clearance when the timing is off. I apologize if I am way off here.

Something to add, I just read a thread on the subject, it could be the wrong plugs are installed and are too long. I had Autoparts Warehouse send me parts for the wrong motor once, their database may not be the best.

Ken they shipped today..

Right on :thumb:

Knows thanks EDM. :thumb:

Bud, the plugs are fairly new, the correct copper plugs and gapped at .028". And Bubbs, I thought that too, but the front bank cam gears are good, obviously not completely ruling that out, but it's a good tight belt. I think we'll try a compression test and BLT next.

It's freaking hot here this week, and the worst is the humidity which brings the "feels like" temp way up. Like its 11:30 and it still feels like 84*F and tomorrow is supposed to be 109*F. ugh.

Knows if work goes good it will be.
