SAW : review :

The DVDs that we get are called "Screeners" its a preview dvd that certain production companies release to video stores so that they can tell if and how many of the video that they want to purchase. If you think about it honestly why would a video store purchase a movie they have NEVER seen and expect to know how many to buy? Im not sayin we get ALL the new movies that come out just ones from certain production companies. I'll attach some pictures just to prove that I'm not someone just frontin I would actually get the saw picture if I could find it from my friends house . Alot of these have protections on them to keep you from copying them believe me I've tried every one that I get . During all of these movies it says down at the bottom a phone number to call if you have rented or bought this dvd to keep people from selling it. It doesnt have the special features either which suck because that is the best part on some dvds :thumbdown

hmmm ok you got me there, but what does the owners opinion of the movie have to do with how many to rent? good movies dont always rent good, and bad ones often times rent out completely...just seems sorta weird it works like that

Yea I know but atleast if i watch the movies early I get an IDEA of if it will be worth purchasing at all. Some movies I think are good don't rent out good but I usuallly have a good eye for what will rent and what won't. I mean you wouldnt go out and buy a new car w/o test driving it. It DEFINATELY saves money on going and watching a movie at the theathers.

I liked it. Has to have one of the best endings ever. Although Cary Elwes' acting was atrocious. He was much better in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, The Crush, Twister, etc.

It really is worth a 3.00 rental. I still don't regret the 20+ spent when the wife and I went.

that has got to be one my all time favorite movies. with andre the giant...just a great movie.

The book was even funnier than the movie. There was more to the sicilian and some back gorund on the giant and spainiard. The movie is probably on my top 5 list. Yeah a little corny but you have to appreciate the humor wrapped up in it. You killed my father prepare to die

The reason the book and movie were both great is because William Goldman wrote both of them. All too often some jack ass writes the screen play and this ruins the transition from book to movie.
