Courtenay,
I want to move the satellite radio from the laser to the talon, but I cant decide on a good place to mount it.
I am really picky about exposed cabling and I hate the idea of putting it in the windshield. To me that is just asking some punks to smash a window to look for goodies.

I have one in my laser that I mounted between the steering column and the stock stereo (litterally the stock one, how sad is that?). Anyone have a satellite radio or gps or even a radar detector with custom mounting? I need some ideas where to start here.

here are a few shots of the mounting in the laser. You can kind of see in one of the pics where I added 2 more power sockets under the dash because if there is a cigarette lighter socket in a less convenient spot than a G1, I have yet to see it.

Make sure you choose a place and method that won't damage your interior. You'll be wanting to take it back out when they go tits-up in February.

Are they goin tits up? Who told you that?

Here is how I mounted mine. I bent the bracket and tucked it in with the sunroof headliner trim. I like mine up high, cause it's out of the way and still easy to see and reach!

Well, not that it really makes them special in the current market, but their shares are down to fourteen cents.

If you believe in them, it could be a killer time to grab up a bunch. Or, if you're too lazy to drive to the nearest Indian casino.
