I'd like to meet up too, but not until I get my car running right and smogged. Hopefully only 1-2 weeks off as I'm waiting for parts to come in. If I could cast a vote on location, being familiar with all the places suggested so far, Alum Rock park is a bit more comfortable compared to the rest because there is a lot of tree cover there for folks who don't want to roast in the sun.

your right about the sun man lake cunnignham has some covered picnic areas to but on the weekends they fill up real quick i like either one tho i used to go hiking at alum rock all the time until they had those mountain lion warnings haha

I've been meaning to find a friend in the SMOG business.

Anyway I've just got a rusted through downpipe to replace (waiting for a 2.5" Buschur replacement to show up), and the turbo's seals are shot, so it's burning oil. I have an OEM rebuild replacement to install. I also have a 2G manifold to put on. But I'm still waiting for two of the three pieces to arrive; once I get them on I should be able to pass a regular smog check so long as I get a lame idle problem fixed. Bleh. She's definitely a "fixer-upper". heh.

If i cant put on this damn cv boot clamp im gonna have to replace my axle before the meet OR i can just run it without a boot since ill replace it anyway.. I shouldnt have any problems with showing up though so i definately should be out there if it happens 28th/29th this month!

Lets vote for the date and then we can confirm how many ppl are going and what will be happening (bbq, booze, hike, mountain bikeing, hanging out etc etc)

A bbq would be cool depending on how many people show up but if its just gonna be a couple people then its probably not worth the trouble buying food and everything.

Is it so hard to get people to come and hang out maybe 1nce a month or so? I know that a lot of you guys wanna hang out but everyones schedules are always conflicting with others, so no one or maybe a few ever show up...

I hang out with the I-Club (Subaru) forum guys every WED and THURS nights, these guys are pretty committed to coming out every week and pretty much have the "usual" crowd of about 10-12 cars. A few of them come down from the East Bay(Hayward/Fremont) Why can't we be more committed to hanging out with our own DSM crowd? C'mon guys lets do this!

Well anyways just wanted to invite you all to hang out every WEDNESDAY nights(830pm-12am) @ Pizza and Pipes on the corner of Lawrence Exp and Homestead Rd Sunnyvale/Santa Clara Next door to the Starbucks. Who's is down for Pizza and Beer?
Most of the time we chill there but sometimes caravan to BJ's Pizza and Brewery on DeAnza Blvd. !

Also on THURSDAY nights(8pm) we meet at Big Dogs on the corner of Foxworthy and Cherry in the Almaden area of San Jose.

Hope most of you can make it, just trying to put some effort into getting us together!

Summertime is here and we should definately make the effort to have hangouts at least once a month since it is hard enough planning it as it is.

4G64T, as long as you love dsm's then your good in my book.

So lets get a COUNT on how many people can are willing to make the meet despite the lack of plans (meet and greet, bbq, hang out..etc). As we get an idea of how many people are coming we can finally decide together what is gonna happen. Just an attempt to organize it better

Luda i think you should hand pick like 5 of us to plan and some-what host events for the site, making set dates and times to meet. The 5 planners can find spots months in advance at different cities around the bay, also log it into the events calanders and stuff...i'm all down for it and volunteering to do it just so week can make things more interesting for us all! Just throwing out that idea so.... yeah! Let us know what you think.

87 South
Exit Almaden Expressway,
Stay straight, i think the 3rd light is gonna be FOXWORTHY,
(look for the 76 gas station on your left) Turn right on FOXWORTHY,
Pass the stop sign,
Next light should be CHERRY,
Big Dogs is right on the corner.
