Safc2 using it to mintor knock?

installed my safc2 today and i was checking it out for knock and it showed like 200 somthing kncok at 1200 rmp idle is the safc2 accurate?

You may have phantom knock. When's the last time you changed out your knock sensor? They do go bad as a car ages, and if yours is still on the original OEM unit, it's very likely to have gone bad by now.

I wouldn't use the S-AFC to monitor knock, it's not accurate at all.

alright im not sure if its on the orginal one or not i havent changed it but i might and why shouldnt i use the safc2? do you think its lower? or higher ?

The SAFC2 doesn't read/display the same thing as the ECU when it comes to knock.
It displays the difference between the sound you trained it with during setup and the noises the engine is making while driving and calls that knock.

If you do a poor job of training the SAFC you'll get poor results and even if it's working 100% you'll have to learn how to read the output and relate that to what the engine it doing.

Much simpler to get a datalogger and read exactly what the ECU sees.
