Bought a 2g awd couple months ago and it came with an SAFC and everything seems to be running fine. So today I was going to install my SAFC2 that I had saved when I sold my 2G GST and noticed the wiring by the previous owner wasnt exactly correct, the 2 grounds were not wired as according to instructions, you know the one thats supposed to be an inch apart from each other, instead he had them both crimped into a single ring terminal and screwed into the metal radio housing bracket. What im wondering is, why does it seem to run fine wired this way? The instructions specifically says to wire the black wire an inch further from the brown wire.

I've never really understood that 1 inch apart thing. At the speed electrons flow, theres no way you could even measure the difference, and realistically, whether it's an inch or a meter apart it's the same common point.
