hey just purchased an safc with the blue screen for my 2g. ive been searching and everything trying to figure out which wire goes where... so far ive come up with this...

green is rpm signal
orange and pink are the air flow sensors ( not sure which is input or output)
red power
brown and black are both grounds

i cant find which color is supposed to be used for the throttle position, i did read somewhere that it is the grey one but i am not 100% sure on that.

can someone just verify which are the outputs and inputs for the air flow and what color is for the throttle position. again this is for a 2g, any help would be great thank you.

okay well i guess the grey is the throttle and the pink is the output and orange is input....
i looked at an install from http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/pages/howto/showarticle.asp?articleid=25 and they used pin points like numbers, 84 and 90

last time i checked there were only like 76 points on the back of the ecu. someone explain this...they did the install on a 2g gsx.

Yet again you come to my rescue haha.. Thanks that helped alot. I have a question. After looking through the instructions I see 3 wires not used, yellow, white and blue. I read in another thread that the two are used on our cars but I cant find it now to see which ones, and whats the third thats not being used here? One more thing, in the last step it just says tap the purple knock wire. Where is the knock sensor located on the ecu?

Thanks again

That article is correct, you will have 3 unused wires.

Yeah, they need to take that part out. There used to be 2 pages to the article, but the second one went missing a long time ago. Apparently the directions from Apexi say to tap the purple wire, which they did and then found out it was useless. On the second page, they retracted that statement and said not to tap the knock sensor.

Anyway, don't tap the knock sensor wire. You might also see articles saying to tap the blue wire to the O2 sensor, but I wouldn't do that either. It has been shown to degrade the voltage being passed to the ECU.
