safc wiring?

i found this wire in my car and it makes me wonder if my car previously had an safc.The weird thing though is that it goes through my steering boot out into my engine bay.

I can tell you thats not afc wireing

im guessing its for a guage maybe a wideband or a temp sensor

I agree -- it looks like it was for an accessory gauge or aftermarket electronic component. Possibly an electrical oil pressure gauge, etc.

Why don't you trace where it goes to in the engine bay and take a picture.
