I have a chane to pick up a safc for 100 bucks. I was wondering should I wait and go for a safc2? What are the differences in them? I know alot ppl are going to say wait and buy dsmlink. Although I do not have the funds at this time. I plan on running it with 680cc injectors and walbro 255 with afpr. I also will be throwing on a t3/t4 hybrid at a later time.

I would say you need more than an AFC I or II to compensate for those 680's.

GM MafT, Chip...etc. Check this out.

The issue is not with using the AFC. It is with using the (AFC I or AFCII) alone as a tuning device for those size injectors, the excessive timing will hinder performance.

So in the end if getting a gm maf/trans thats 200. And getting a eprom ecu with chip maybe 2-300? I still end up with purchasing dsmlink.
