SAFC question

The previous owner of the car installed an SAFC1 and a 255lph pump but left it on stock boost. I've got a boost controller but wanted to know if the MAF would adjust the fuel to compensate for the extra boost or will I have to re-tune the SAFC? I'm only gonna run around 12PSI

You should be ok with 12psi... All cars are different...

I'd even shoot for 15 psi, and see what it does... If its too much, it'll hit fuel cut...Should be ok tho.

I'm runnin a 255 with a 2g MAF at 16 pounds and 550's. just runs a little rich thats all, should be fine

Ive got the same but im running 18psi. Cars is running good. Im guessing your running stock turbo and injectors so you should be fine upto 15 psi maby more.

I would get a some bigger injectors and a FPR if you can though.

if you have 255 pump...get an AFPR asap....

I'd buy an exhaust/ upper pipe/ or injectors, before you think about a AFPR.....


Thats a myth.... Stock regulators run into the 10's......

You need a datalogger and really ought to have an AFPR for that pump, it will overrun the stock FPR.
You need to know what's going on inside the engine and be able to control fuel pressure before you can tune with that SAFC.

So I wont have to worry about tuning it just running 12-15PSI? I'm going to get some injectors an a FPR next. I've already installed a 2.5" turbo back exhaust. Also does anyone know what the different sizes of injectors look like? I'm pretty sure I have the stockers but i'm not 100%
