SAFC question

Hi! I'm getting my car back today after the rebuild. So my question is, I have a 2nd Gen. mas on the car and I have an safc1. Do I need to set the safc again? Is it safe to drive it? Please help. Thank you

the 2g mas flows 20% more air then the stock 1g so you'll either need bigger injectors 550cc work well with a 2g mas or you can try to tune in more fuel with the safc and stock injectors.

I have 750cc and 190 fuel pump on the car. It was tune before but I had to rebuild coz. of a bad piston and ring. Do I have to re-set the safc again?

sorry should have looked at your mod list. did you add the 2gmas with the rebuild this time? or has it been there since you got tuned the first time?

Its been there since I got my car tuned the first time along with 190 pump,750cc injector,afr.

Does the safc reset if you disconnect the battery?

then no you shouldn't have to re tune unless you upd your compression ratio or something like that just go in and make sure all you settings are still correct.

I only change the piston and the piston ring, but the battery is been off for a week.

right turn the key on wait for the afc to turn, on make sure all the base setting are right karman throttle pointing the right way and your corrections are still in there. You may have to do a little fine tuning because the ecu in the car will relearn the way you drive but other than that it should be ok. just keep your logger handy and make corrections as needed. but as far as starting from scratch no you shouldnt have to the afc should have a memory in it.

i know for sure the safc has a memory. i had my car sitting without a battery in it for 2 yrs and it kept the settings on the safc.
