SAFC blue wire mod with wideband (LC-1)

I know the LC-1 has 2 programmable outputs. I have one going to my gauge, but for those without gauges, couldn't they do the blue wire mod to get a "gauge"? It would also be a nifty way to see a small graph after a quick pull.
