Anyone going to do just some fun runs? It's $40 for the fun runs, I might do that since I don't know about competing.

Is this going to happen when the event opens up its doors? I would be down for that too.

We shall be attending this event as spectators. Would be nice to meet a bunch of the west coast dsmers that I have chatted with online over the many yrs. It's a shame none of our dsms are gonna be ready for next weekend. Our 16g car woulda benefited from a lower elevation. We ran 11.55@121 at 3990ft no nos on q16 and started losing a clutch. Who knows what it will do in sac.

I'll let a bunch of 775 locals know about this and maybe get a few more people out there.

Hey Ludachris i for sure will be there at the race but i'm not too sure if i will be there on Sat due to other engagements but for sure will be there on Sun.

Most diehard DSM'ers bring a mini repair shop to the track. I have my bottomless toolbox that has almost every tool needed to do basic repairs, and I know Ted carries plenty of cool stuff. I remember once he had a spare block in the back of his truck!

Reminds me of watching hardcore DSMers swapping trannys between passes. I seem to remember, over a decade ago, DSMers pulling transmissions from their cars and loaning them to other racers.

I had to borrow a dipstick from a dsmer last time out when I melted my original one haha. I always have some basic tools on me, but not enough to swap a transmission!

BOTI 2006 or 2007- Swapped a transmission in abour 30 mins with basic tools and 2 honda buddies.

Oh yeah! I still have the potentiometer in my kit, just in case.
That was a nice fix. The car drove normal the whole way home.
