.shit is on baby hahahaha bring on jdm, ford, dodge and anyone who needs to get knocked down a peg
If this is for the West Coast Shootout event, then the English Racing crew will be coming down for this event. Planning on bringing 5 cars this year instead of 3. Jeff Bush's 8-sec 1G auto drag car, 2 low-10s 1G autos, a low-8s MKIV Supra, and a low-9s Civic HB.
hey you going king??
Very good info Ted! I will be there as always. To everyone thats racing, please make sure your car can pass tech!
This means, no oil leaks that follow you from the pits to the staging lights, make sure you have your battery tied down with a metal bracket (no zip ties or ratcheting straps), some sort of overflow that is secure and not leaking, and if you are running 13.99 or quicker you need a helmet! ( Snell m2000 or higher) DOT approved helmets may be used, but they also NEED to meet snell requirements.
If you've never been to the track before, have someone hop in with you that has, so they can advise you of return lanes, speed in the pits and general etiquette.
For most of us this is basic stuff, but for some of you that havent raced PLEASE ask questions if you are not sure. Its a long drive up to sac, just to end up in the pits not racing if your car doesnt pass tech.
Did you miss this post man? :
haha. DSM's as a group will be well represented, but we will be lucky to compete with some of the other cars out there. Gotta be realistic about things. Bet you that civic and supra will make you feel like you're a couple pegs lower by the end of the day... hahaha. I'm going to watch some live and reckless motor sports action, not to try and make some Honda kids cry.

Oh yeah, this sucks for me. I may have to work the Thunderbird Airshow at Travis. But I would much rather go to this. I think Im going to try to get out of the airshow.
Who's driving past Fairfield? I literally live on Beck Ave I-80 onramp. PM me, Ill bring the TSI AWD as a spectator. I may even make it down to Milpitas tomorrow night, 70 miles away though, which round trip is about $40 in gas in my POS.
Rolling in the A87s Josh!
sooo random... but the airshow is the same weekend as this?
i hope i can go! i just moved to sac. so i hope i can go, and im with josh, ive never raced my car down a track. :0

I just might have to make it out there... now that I'm only a few minutes away.

"The Legend"...You have to make it! We all have to meet "The Man, The Myth, The Legend" You should setup a T-Shirt booth! Id buy a few for sure.
I don't know about all that. I don't have any shirts or anything else that I'd be able to bring with me - hell, my 1G is still torn apart and won't be ready by then. I'd just show up to check out some fast DSMs and meet some people. You don't get a whole lot of DSMers with fast DSMs showing up in numbers at any events not called the Shootout these days. Hell, I'd be ecstatic to see more than 3 well done DSMs in any one place.
