S-afc not reading 3" GM a/f signal

Has anyone had this problem? s-afc not reading the 3" gm signal?? I got an s-afc and hooked it p just like directions say, the check engine light went on on I go and try to read the a/f signal and it stays at 0.0% I know the original sensor type is karman, but what is a 3" GM maf?

The translator will change the GM readings into the karman readings. Did you use the correct wires for the karman air flow sensor?

First, take the GM MAF and MAFT off and put the OEM one back. Does the AFC read the air correctly? If not then the wiring is wrong, double check it... along with the settings.

If it works normally then move onto the GM MAF, it is brand new, or at least known to work?

If is good, check the MAFT. Are the connectors seated properly? There really isn't anything to wire up unless you go for the options. Check the LED's inside, are they showing an error, or are they lighting up as they should?

I was talking about the S-AFC wiring. There is a different wire for karman compared to a MAP sensor like Hondas use...

I dont have the original maf, it was trash, it was cracked.

Do you have a logger? or a friend that will let you borrow his for a littl bit?

I have a loger but the car plug has no signal at all. Also I just peeled back the wiring and some idiot cut the pink and orange wires and switched them so I had it wired backwards, but after fixing it car still wont rev past like 5k. What do your readings sy when you go to AFL and throttle on your s-afc's? mine says 0.0% on the AFL and the thr. works fine...where it says Kar, its reading in Hz. and reading fine I think, it goes from hundreds to thousands when I hit the gas.

Well, not being able to use a logger make it very difficult to tune.
