ok to start i just put a 16g turbo and a front mount on this car now when i give it full throttle or some times half gas the a/f meter barries in rich and it looks like a damn diesel. It has no power when it does this and it bucks really hard at about 5500 three times or more then stops. I gotta boost controller on it ### i thought the turbo waz to much for stock ecu i boosted it down to 13psi and still the same i need help im all outta ideahs

Did that and holds good boost it just acts like something is pulling me back

didnt try that yet but have u ever had that prob or no any one who has

Describe in detail the process and results of your boost leak test.

Please use proper grammar, spelling (no AOL/text talk), punctuation and capitalization.

ok when i did the pressure test i pumped it up to 25psi and like every 30 or 45 seconds it lost pressure but i was told that was normal

Where did you see the 25psi? Where was the tester connected to? What are you using to pressurize.

What part of this do you not understand?

I used a air compressor and the gauge said 25.I had it connected to the charge pipe that slides on the turbo. And this home made thing my buddy let me use.

i used a air tank to pump up pressure to 25 psi(thats what the gauge said) with this home made thing my buddy uses and i hook it up on the charge pipe that goes on the turbo

This is the last time I'll warn you concerning using proper grammar before I close your thread, I don't like doing it but I'll if I have to.

Is the gauge part of the air tank? Does the tank have a regulator built in?

The tank has a regulator or on it but i used a manual tire gauge to check it i pumped it up to 25 psi with the tank then checked with the gauge it stayed at 25psi 30 seconds later went down to 18 the 30 seconds later went to 8 the it lost all pressure and all i could hear sounded like air rushing around in the head.

This is very frustrating, pay attention to my questions.

1. What is the regulator on the air compressor set to?

2. Where is this tire gauge hooked up to?

i set the regulator to 25 because i was told that was all pressure i needed. And the gauge was applied to the home made pressure tester it has a valve stem on it .

Capitalize your I's!!!

Then I don't believe your test results, that or you didn't actually do the test yourself and you're just passing on what you were told, if in fact the regulator is set to 25psi.

ok what ever im a mechanic i know what im doing and im telling u the truth so just never mind i will get help from someone else bye

I have done millions of boost leak tests and what you're describing is impossible UNLESS there is a one way check valve built into the leak tester itself some where. If you don't believe me, repeat the test with the compressor set to 25psi and check your boost gauge in the car, I guaranteed you won't see anything close to 25psi on the boost gauge, you'll be lucky if you see 10psi, many sees 0psi.

In any case, your thread is now closed because you simply can't or unwilling to abide by the forum rules.
