So far I am having tuning issues and still haven't put my turbo on yet nor my wideband. As of right I'm running low compression 8.8.1 pistons and my car sounds great after it is started but while its cranking the car sound likes the motor going to blow. I'm not sure if that's just because of the low compression or what. But another main concern of mine is the thick black carbon build up in my exhaust now. The car has been rebuilt within the past two years. I have not been able to drive her due to the fact I have some much that I keep doing to it. But I have run the car a total of around 4 hours over the past year. When I rebuilt the car every thing was completely clean inside and I'm just not sure why everything is covered in a thick film of carbon with very little time running the motor. I'm looking to get a fuel management device other than my fmu but I'm not sure what is good and what is bad and how each is used and what is easiest to use.

I take it you still using stock injectors? You don't have anything list on your info. Is your cell light on? Did you get new sensor after your build? What type of moose do you here at start (a tap or a knock)?

I am currently using stock injectors and i'm going to upgrade to 750cc soon. At start up it sounds like a rough thud but once started it sounds perfectly fine. I'm just guessing its because of the low compression because nothing is physically hitting. I was thinking of retarding the timing but I really do not want to play with it until everything else is installed. I'm still waiting on time to put the turbo in.
