Running lean stumbles on accel

Symtoms: Running lean. Stumbles if i accel past 50 percent. Stumbles at idle. Sometimes backfires very lightly. Light smell of gas in the cabin.

Replaced: Fuel filter, spark plugs, coil pack, spark wires, CAT, EGR silinoid, vaccum lines, Every sensor except coolant temp sensor, cleaned throttle body, Tested fuel injectors(stuck a stethiscope against) , and a compression check, 180s accross the board.

So when i bought the car it had been sitting in a garage for 2 years.

I have owned the car for almost two years, and has had the problom for that long.

When i first got the car it would do what i described then i would keep holding the gas and it would kick into gear and accell as if i had a turbo. Doesnt do that anymore.

sometimes if i let the car sit for a few days it will run great for a couple hours or so.

About once a month the cel will flash for a few seconds and the go away immediatly.

This problom is very annoying, i have searched the forums and found nothing involving this problom.

If someone could please help me resolve the issue i would be much appriciated.

my car was stumbling after i gave it more than half throttle i thought it was a bad ecu since mine was indeed bad long story short i swaped the motor into another car with new wiring and ecu and im waiting on my trans to find out if that fixed it keep me updated
