car stumbles on accel.-diirty injectors?

my car is a 90 laser rs turbo and i am having this prob with stumbling on accelartion. after i drive it for a while it usually clears up but not always. my boost looks like it has a hard time getting to full boost. i know when it clears up cause i can fell it when the turbo kicks in (like a bat out of hell). i put in a new fuel filter and made sure that the base timing is at 5 deg. bdtc. it idles fine but it kinda hesitates a little when i first start it up. i cant figure out what is wrong. also, i cant kept water in my system. its all 100% water right now cause i havent got to autozone. as long as i got water in it, it doesnt overheat. i check the water after it overheats a little, and no water at all, where is it going.one more thing, is it possible that the oil cap on the valve cover can leak? my does a little bit dont know what thats about. my mods are only the free ones. n e help would be appreciated.

Are you checking the water neck or are you basing the loss of water via the overflow bottle? As far as your spuddering under boost, what have you done other than replace the fuel filter and check the timing? Need a little more info on what you have checked or replaced in the recent past, or since this spuddering has started. Because it could be any of the million possibilities a DSM can do to cause this. And yes the seal on the oil cap can harden over time and start to crack. A new seal is very cheap and takes 2 minutes to replace. Other than that, give us a list of OEM maintenance you have done recently. ie, plugs, plug wires, etc.

well, i have done the wires but they were off of my white laser that got overheated pretty bad. the wires were fine except for one of them. the number one wire has a little and by little i mean no bigger than your pinky nail on your hand, rubber piece that got melted or broke off. it came with ngk 6bpres plugs but i dont know how long they have been in there. i replaced the o ring on the fuel rail with the connector i guess. it the pass. side of the car.oh, i almost forgot. when me and my friend were putting the car back together after the head rebuild, we broke the knock sensor. my car threw a check engine light. so i went to autozone to have them pull the code and sure enough it was the knock sensor. i replaced it and it seem to fix my car for a while until the next morning when i was on my way to work. and the water. i am basing the loss on the fact that after it cools i open the cap and squeeze the rad. hoses and nothing. i go to fill it back up and it takes a lot of water to fill back up. i know its not my head gasket or the water pump. let me know what you think.

your talking about wires right? i am going get some tomorrow. thanx for the help. n e idea on where my water is going or will it fix itself when i put actual antinfreeze in it.

I would try a compression check just to be on the safe side and then you can go from there.
