Running lean problem

Alright first off my car sounded as if it was flooding out so i figured the spark plugs needed replaced so i pulled them out to find out that they were completely white. So i went and bought new ones and a week later the brand new ones went bad and they are also white. Now what i dont understand is that my car always ran rich because i could actually smell the fuel and everyone could behind me too, at the same boost my car is starting to run very lean. If anyone had this problem please tell me whats up

i doubt your running as lean as you think

what are your relevant mods?

i have a 16g, intake, mbc, exhaust everythign else is stock but i have gone thru two pairs of plugs that have been very white

yes, you can foul plugs, but you can foul an 02 sensor too. You still may be running rich. But your front 02 can be so fouled up that it will make the car read wrong. I would definitely look into that, especially if the car is NOT misfiring/popping (which is expected when you are actually running lean, which seems like you;re not).
