Running a little too hot

So check this out guys I am a little stumped here. My car likes to run around 200-210. I have also seen it get all the way to 215. I know and have read in On-Demand that spec is 195. I have checked all sensors, fans and the temp difference from in and out on my radiator and the water flow. Brand new t-stat. I have a good 50/50 mix in it and have flushed it.

I run 91 octane all the time.

I guess my main question is, should I be concerned?

imo..no. The differnce may be in the sensor your using to measure it, its calibration etc. Honestly, that sounds about right for temps for OEM.

Alright. Just on demand said 195 is operating. But it'll only get up when I'm sitting.

so im guessing you have an aftermarket temp gauge? i live in arizona too and its a little hotter where i live but i run a 160 t-stat in my car to keep it nice and cool in this dry heat. there is a thread on here about coolent mixtures and from what i have read the best mix to dissipate heat is 70% water 30% coolent. have you cleaned out the front of your radiator really good? have you tried flushing it to see if its makes it better?

does your fan turn on when the temp starts to rise?

Yes I have flushed and cleaned my radiator. And the fans do come on. Maybe I need to run a higher t-stat? An yes it is after market. It's a depo.
