Alright here's a question; i have had my talon for about a year, put a tdo5h 16g turbo on it, bov, and a mbc in my car. I just recently put on the bov and had a vaccum leak which i just fixed today. I am apparently running 18 psi when i originally thought i was only running 15psi, due to the vaccum leak, but i have a completely stock fuel system and i haven't hit the fuel cut yet. Is my gauge reading something wrong, or broken, or is it possible to run 18 psi with the stock fuel system and an upgraded turbo. From everything i read i shouldn't be able to run more than 16psi with the stock fuel system.

I was running 18 with t25 for 3 yrs now I have 16g same boost, ran it for about 5 months like that with no issues...I now have a 190 waly, & have 680 pte injectors, pr fmic, ecmlink with eprom on order, hopefully will still have no issues LOL

Not exactly a smart thing to do. But its possible. I bet your car hates you though

my old engine loved the 14b at 18psi the ring lands on the other hand didnt like it. you can only run on the edge for so long turn it down. i run 20psi with a 16g and 560cc s now. i have learned my lesson.

Alright so turning it back down to 16 is probably a better bet. I just wasn't sure how great it was for that to be happening or how long my car will last doing it. thanks

You can do it with a fuel pump but really you should get injectors also.

If you do the fuel pump retire it will help some. You shouldn't run that much with stock everything. Do like the rest say and turn it down for now

No more than 14psi. If you are on stock fuel I tell people to keep it at stock wastegate pressure so there is no possible chance of something going wrong until you get a logger and upgrade your fuel system.
