Ask Me,
Virginia
On any other engine I wouldn't ask...but here I will always ask.
I did a bit of searching around and saw cure times, what to use, etc.
My question is, how thick the bead needs to be and whether or not it gets applied to the pan and the block or the pan or??
Also, does it need to go around the bolt holes and the bolts? I know that was suggested for small block chevys etc back in the day but don't know if that applies here.
I ask because all of the bolts I took out of the oil pan had grey RTV all over them.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Nevermind...just found this...
