I have searched and read all the posts about the quiet exhausts and have concluded that these two are the quietest 3'' exhausts on the market. I just want to hear further opinions on which out of these two is quieter and easier to get. In the end i am asking which one of these exhausts should i get for my talon awd with which downpipe? And also where should i go about getting these exhausts, i know that extreme psi sells the thermal but i havent seen nay reputable sites with the rsr.....thanks

I have a RSR 3" downpipe with highflow cat and Thermal 3" catback and during highway cruising with the radio off you can barely hear the car, at WOT at 21 psi it's not very audible as well. I love it. With the radio on just normal volume you can't hear it.

I bought somebody's used RS*R and it is quiet. Even at WOT, although I have a 3" cat (Cali smog nazzis). I ran without a cat for a while and even then it was only loud under WOT. Idle is almost like stock.

I currently have Thermal R&D 3" catback and plan on getting a downpipe in the next few days. I love the thermal it has a very deep sound that is very unlike everyone else's cars. It's not very load a WOT too! Go thermal you won't be disappointed!

I have the Apexi World Sport 3" catback and it is very quiet. I have been told it is the same exhaust as the RS*R (thats what I was originally looking for). It has two resonators and a pretty big muffler. Idle is very quiet and highway is reasonable. I recently added a BR downpipe and it did not add much noise at all (still have stock cat).

I have the 3' Thermal cat back with a 3' Hahn Downpipe and a high flow cat. At idle it is not bad. It has a definite note at cruising and at wot it is kinda loud. It is all relative if your going from stock to all this there is a huge difference. I had the same setup on my old fwd with no cat and it actually seemed quiter. I had a 16g and it was way less powerful so I do not know if that translates to quiter at wot or not. But the 50 trim I have with this setup is not quite.
