Not sure where else to post this being I think it might be a boost leak. When I'm in 1st gear and I goose it it will get to about 4,000rpm's and then it feels as if all power gets lost but rpm's still go up normally. When in 2nd and I put it to the floor it seems around 4,500rpm's it studders between power and none. Now when I'm in 3rd it pulls good all the way through but I don't think it's at 100%. I have a 97GST also but I'm trying to sell it and my friend was test driving it because the motor in my GSX is goinging into the GST because I have already built my GST motor. Anyway, I decided to drive because he drove really stupid, not fast but stupid, like cruising down the road in 2nd at like 40mph and slipping the crap out of the clutch but that's OK because it's only got like 20,000 miles on it. But, back to the topic, I tried getting on it in 3rd one time and the rpm's froze at 5,000rpm's and wouldn't go any faster with the gas to the floor. What would cause my car to do this. It loses power in 1st at high rpm's, studders in 2nd at high rpm's, and pulls good all the way through 3rd-5th. Thanks for those of you who took the time to read this.
