Rpms drop when clutch pressed down

I just picked up a 95 tsi, and I just noticed that when i press the clutch in, the rpms drop.. and the clutch clicks, definitely from the inside of the cab. I'm definitely in fear of it being crankwalk now, so any help ASAP would be great.. this sucks ;/

Time to drop a 6 bolt in this damn thing already, was hoping I could get away with it for awhile.

i just bought a 93 eclipse gs...mine was doing the same, amongst other things like sounding like a freight train derailing...and i had HORRIBLE crankwalk....stupid 7 bolts. but now im ridin with a jdm and its running great so far!! good luck...check www.noyanusa.com for jdms...i got mine there, VERY fast shipping and the engine was what i expected. good luck man
