For some reason when I drive my car hard, the rpms drop very low to around 200 and the car nearly dies. Then after a couple of seconds the RPMs go back to normal. As I can remember, this started happening when I put my 2.5"-3" downpipe on and the PSIs went from 15 to 16.
I also noticed that my clutch pedal makes some weird squeeking noise from time to time when it's pressed in (sounds like air being let out). I also have problems shifting into Reverse sometimes. When this happens I have to press the clutch in again and then I'm able to shift into reverse.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

Ok what could be the problem from what im hearing is that your biss screw might be set either to low or to high that will mess up your idle and your clutch noise is normal i had the same problem all it is that if you look under the steering colum there is a spring attached to the clutch pedal put wd40 on it and press it a few times you will not hear it any more and the reverse problem i also have the same issue but i cant figure that out sorry about that if i get any info on it i will let you know hope this helps good luck

see, I adjusted the biss screw previously when i've noticed my RPMs were too low all the time (at 500). I've set it at 1000 but the RPMs keep dropping.

my car does the same exact thing, when i come to a stop light or sign, it will surge, then drop to like 200 and just sit there, usually until i give it gas to get the rpms back up. ive tried turning the idle up but to no avail, and its been doing it for quite some time now, and i know im n/t with an a/t, but something we have on our different cars might be causing it, but it seems as if no one knows the answer to this problem

Also what might be the problem is your isc might be going bad i forgot. I replaced that also and once i replaced that my idle has been great so i recommend that. Replace it you can find some good ones on ebay but thats something you take your chances with becuase you know how ebay can be sometimes thats if you dont wanna spend the big money and get a brand new one from the dealer

Come on I am surpised no one has mentioned this yet. Bleed the air out of the clutch system. The reason why you sometimes have to pump the clutch twice is because an air bubble is in the system and the pressure applied at the mastercylinder did not make it to the slave.
