rpm numbers at 80mph???? need info!!!

i have a 95 gs and i wanted to know what you guys are running for rpms at certain speeds. Like at 80 what rpm are you at?? 100 also. I am a 5spd. I usually run about 80mph at 3K rpms?? is that normal.

What size rims/tires are you running?

With my 18's and 225/45/18's I run about 80 at 3k rpm.. with my stock 16's i run about 70 at 3k rpm.

i have the stock rims with 205-55-16 tires. i am running 80 at 3krpms?? is that good. the bigger rims actually make u faster??

I run 3500rpms at 80mph.

Bigger rims dont make you faster, they just make youre speedometer read wrong.

I run 3K-rpms @ 80mph. Seems to be pretty normal. As far as the rim size, if you get the proper wheel and tire combo, the overall rolling diameter should = stock, allowing for an accurate, stocklike mph reading.

i am assuming you are talking about being in 5th gear, so yea i run about the same, 3500rpms in 5th @80mph
