RPM jumping in Full Throtle

ok this is my problem when im in the freeway or just cruisin about 3k and then i go full throtle in that gear...My Rpms jump at about 4500 and then they go down on 4000 and then it starts pulling...sometimes it stays at 5000 and i could hear the engine like if it was slipping and then gripping.

I was wondering if this problem was beacuse my BOV got lose and needs readjustment. or is it something else like tranny.

I have an Apex TT and my setting are for A/F=10.5 and when i floor it my 02 reading are .91/.94 isnt this a bit rich.

i dont understand why am i expiriancing this. All of this started when i put my TT but i dont think thats my problem.

sounds like the clutch is on its way out...thats what i experienced atleast when it happened.

Yep, sounds like a clutch to me too. Is there a burning smell?

Yep both these guys are right, your slipping your clutch. Time to upgrade.

I thought slipping of the clutch only happens between the gears not when the gears are already engaged.

Oh no, it happens when it cant handle the power the engine is putting out. How many miles are on the clutch?

Same thing happened on my old gsx when I turned up the boost, couldnt handle the power

i think its still a factory clutch because my engine has 85K but the previous owner was really gentle with the car...

So if i do upgrade my clutch will a ACT 2600 be driveable for daily use?or is a ACT 2100 better. I want something that could handle power but also be durable

IM probably going to save up money for the clutch and the fly
