rpm jump

idk if this has to do with a boost leak but when ever i shift gears the rpm's jump a little before they decline. im almost sure i have a boost leak i just got my boostpro tester in and running the test this weekend, also i bought the car with an uncirculated bov which i put my dejon intake on today to recirculate it, any suggestions why the rpms would just jump like that when i shift?

thats weird that happens to me too but i have a 96 rs non turbo so there is no way i can have a boost leak ...but yeah i was wondering the same thing they usually jump 500rpm

yes exactly this happened to my friend once, but after he recirculated his bov it was better. can someone shed some light on this???

Check for vacuum leaks. Are you venting?
