Hey everyone, just finished up my t belt and started it, has a rough idle. Can these timing marks be lined up better? This is at #1 cylinder tdc and lower timing lined up.

Yeah they can, it can be kinda tricky. Did you use the vfaq for an installation guide? http://vfaq.com/mods/timingbelt-1G.html
I've always had to pull the cam gears towards each other a little extra when fitting the belt so when tension is applied they line up exactly. I've never had an issue doing it this way (5+ t-belt installs).
