Does anyone know if 15x8 rotas with 40mm offset will fit a 2g with Brembos?

Depends a lot on the face design of the wheels.. I’d say probably not. Post a picture of the wheels you’re interested in.

I thought you needed at least 17s to clear the rotors?

They clear stock brakes barely with a spacer as I recall. I do not think they clear Brembos.

Terrible 60s, around 500whp

15" wheels will not fit over evo brembo set up (assuming you are using the evo 8/9 rotors or X rotors with calipers and adapters), the rotors measure 12.6 inches in diameter. 16" wheels barely clear and only for select wheels. I know for a fact that 16" RPF1s will not fit over stock evo 8 front brakes. I have seen 16" rotors fit but don't know the specs or offset/wheel spacers used.
