Do a search on both dsm sites, and I bet you can find many others who have heard the 2 weeks line, 6-8 weeks reality.
Are you actually a customer of theirs, or are you just trolling? You've been a registered member of the site for two days, with this being your second post, so I wasn't able to find any historical posts from you regarding the problems you've had.

Personally, it took a month and a half for my exhaust to arrive, a month late from the original quote of two weeks. That being said, the workmanship and fitment was excellent, and RnR were responsive the whole time; I never had a case where an email went unanswered.
The fact that they are on here recommending you buy something they know will not leave for at least a month is pathetic. Get a clue R&R.
Did you have a problem with the product you ordered from them besides the backorder (to which they've admitted, and have described how they're addressing it today; feel free to search, there have been a few posts on the subject now)?
Your an embarrasment to the community of DSM vendors and customers.
This was uncalled for, given the number of community members who would likely disagree with you. And I doubt any of us appreciate being spoken for by someone who's been around two days.

Personally i'm a firm beleiver in the old addage "good things come to those that wait"
The only reason i havent ordered one yet myself is that i'm working on the build-up of a second motor for the performance aspect (dont want to do too much to the original as it has 145K on it) But rest assured, when i do get the engine finished and ready to drop in i'll be buying several parts from RNR, based mainly on the good things those in a position to know in here have said about thier products.

Guns ;)
